Experience

At Westgate we clean over 90 healthcare establishments, which include hospitals, medical centres, GP surgeries and dental practices. We provide a fresh approach to healthcare cleaning, with infection control at the forefront of our service delivery.  As a result we adopt the British standard for cleanliness in healthcare facilities – PAS 5748, which ensures that our cleaning standards fight infection, creating spotless hospitals, wards, doctors’ surgeries and medical departments.

Compliance

Fully compliant with the national specifications for cleanliness in the NHS 2007, we deliver cleaning services to clinical and non-clinical areas. Our cleaning procedures are delivered in accordance with the latest Healthcare Cleaning Manual and are underpinned by comprehensive risk assessments.

With a fresh approach to hospital and healthcare cleaning we improve patient environments, create smarter ways of working whilst protecting our client’s reputation.

Training

As a highly experienced and specialist medical centre cleaning company we understand the extremely high level of cleaning required to satisfy CQC regulations and to ensure that patients’ expectations are met on a daily basis. Westgate works with each individual client to establish a dedicated cleaning regime and training plan for their surgery/hospital.

With additional training standards in place for all staff working at these sites, regular training updates and detailed inspections our clients know that Health and Safety is always at the forefront of our work. As with all of our sites, specialist chemicals, COSHH regulations and colour coding systems are in place and monitored by our management team to maintain a healthy working environment and eliminate cross contamination issues. We are able to assist practice managers in ensuring that they are able to meet CQC standards and help to reduce the burden of this by providing a bespoke cleaning plan, regular reviews and audits, infection control procedures and certification for all deep cleaning work undertaken.

All training documents and COSHH records are kept on site.
